It's Hatch chili time in the Southwest




Let me tell you what I do with these little treasures.
Char the skin and remove (they will be wet)
slit open and remove seeds and top
place a strip of Monterey Jack cheese inside
roll in a mixture of flour,salt,pepper and garlic powder (not salt)
saute on both sides in light oil.
