This "green" neighborhood in the desert started out as orange groves planted just south of Camelback Mountain during the 1940's. Ranch homes were then built around the groves keeping the rural feeling.
As time went by, these homes were leveled and more expensive, more modern mini mansions were interspersed throughout the area..
